What are RSS Feeds?

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. Most blogs and news sites that regularly publish updating content supply a feed via RSS. By subscribing to the feed, with your favorite feed reader, you get can see and read posts from all your subscribed sources all aggregated into one place. They are very handy if you follow a number of websites as you can simply check your reader to see if anything new has been posted without having to visit the websites themselves.
